Artemis Veterinary Clinic is an independent practice with a dedicated team of vets, nurses, receptionists and our groomer. New Puppy or Kitten Health Checks
Welcoming a new puppy or kitten is exciting, and early veterinary care helps young pets grow into healthy adults. Our puppy and kitten health checks give your new pet the best possible start. These appointments allow our vets to carry out a full health examination and discuss vaccinations, parasite control, microchipping, nutrition, training and behaviour, plus advice on neutering and preventative care tailored to your pet’s lifestyle. Sick animal consultations
When pets become unwell it can be worrying. Our vets provide thorough sick pet consultations for dogs and cats, helping diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. We carry out a full clinical examination and discuss symptoms and behaviour. Where needed, we can arrange further investigations such as blood tests or diagnostic imaging. If your dog or cat is showing signs of illness, contact us to arrange a consultation as soon as possible.
Routine vaccinations and preventative health care
Preventative healthcare protects long-term wellbeing. Our routine vaccination programmes for dogs and cats help protect against serious infectious diseases and include a full health check. During vaccination appointments we also discuss parasite control, nutrition, dental care and lifestyle. We’re happy to talk through appropriate dog and cat vaccination schedules for your pet. Book a vaccination or annual health check with Artemis Veterinary Clinic. Canine (Nobivac): Primary with DHPPi + L4 (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza, leptospirosis). First shot 6–8 weeks; second 2–4 weeks later (10–12 weeks). First-year booster DHPPi + L4; years 23 booster L4 only; full vaccination every 3 years. Kennel cough (Bordetella/parainfluenza) annually. Rabies from 12 weeks where applicable. Feline (Nobivac): Primary Tricat Trio + FeLV from 9 weeks, second at 12 weeks. Panleukopenia and FeLV every 3 years; calicivirus/herpes need annual cover — Ducat used in years 2–3 boosters. Rabies from 12 weeks where applicable.
Dentistry
Dental disease is common in dogs and cats and can cause pain and infection. We provide professional veterinary dental care including assessment, teeth cleaning and dental procedures as appropriate. If your pet has bad breath, tartar build-up or difficulty eating, contact us to arrange a dental check.
Nurse clinics for nail clipping, anal gland expression, weight management and more
Our veterinary nurse clinics provide convenient appointments for routine care such as nail clipping, anal gland expression, weight management support, post-operative checks, and general health advice. In-house surgery from neutering to advanced orthopaedics
We offer a range of surgical procedures for dogs and cats, from routine operations such as neutering and lump removals through to more advanced procedures including orthopaedic work where appropriate. Every surgical patient receives careful pre-operative assessment, pain management, and close monitoring. Speak to our team to discuss options.
Imaging: X-ray and ultrasound
Diagnostic imaging helps identify problems that cannot be seen on examination alone. We provide veterinary X-ray and ultrasound imaging for dogs and cats to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Contact us if your pet needs imaging.
Behavioural medicine

Euthanasia and end-of-life care
